I don’t agree with adding any carbs, refined or not. Recommending potatoes and rice as a good high carb food is not solid advice, in my opinion. Carbs glycate your tissue, which is damaging, and we don’t need any carbs to thrive. If the good doctor is saying the whole food carbs are better than refined carbs, well, she has a point but really, why not just cut the carbs entirely?

The only green that I eat is Cilantro leaves due to heavy metal detox chelator it has, I eat it everyday along with meat, Meats saturated fat with cilantro will remove heavy metal loads inside.

To be honest, I thought she was a MD😮. I still value her advice but not enough to pay $80 a month. I just don’t have it. I’m thankful for the free info that she provides.

Question - How does one know if going g by what primitive humans did or specifically were forced to do to survive as in their forced fasting and feast are what would be actually healthy now that we have a choice in our eating patterns ?? Adaptation ? Or lack of possibly?

I think it's a mistake to fast to loose weight. Fast to be healthy. Weight loss just happens when you are healthy and high-vibing.
I fast because it feels good to. And don't eat many foods just because it feels bad to, regardless of how good they taste.
I was eating some home made fries in olive oil yesterday, and feeling happy, but suddenly felt deeply sad as soon as I ate a bit of store ketchup, for no other obvious reason. Homemade ketchup doesn't do this.
Anyhow, pay subtle attention to your body and be happy. I used to be 285 at one time and now sit at 185, no matter how much or little I eat, tho less always feels better energetically.
Most importantly keep up the vibes and eat whole foods, that's what seems to work best.

For water Enagic USA, makes a wonderful machine that breaks the water molecules down into a micro cluster which actually can penetrate the cell walls and flush the toxins out. It changes the ions to a negative charge and can change the pH levels from 8.5 up to 11.5 alkaline and 5.5 down to 2.5 acidic for different purposes and uses! Super well made machine by the Japanese. They also have a machine for your shower that runs the 5.5 acidic water at which your skin heals the best. My water machine is 15 yrs old and still runs great! However, I did just get an a new upgraded one and it's even better! Love it! Just got the shower machine as well. It's called an Anespa DX, and the other water machine is called a LeveLuk K8, Kangen water machine. It's small and sits on my counter. Extremely great machine for your health! Couldn't do without it! I just came off of a water only 10 day fast to weaken my stage 4 cancer, and it has made a huge difference in my blood work! (I did add the juice of 1 squeezed lemon to the water as well.) But drank 1, 000 cc a day! Now greens, low sugar fruits, and complex carbs only for awhile. Check out the machine! It really does wonders. Purifies but leave the vital nutrients that our bodies need.

Soooo tiresome hearing about losing weight. What about us who are naturally skinny and would actually prefer to GAIN a little weight, while at the same time taking advantage of the benefits of fasting?

Dr. Mindy is right. A true carnivore diet would be much boring than even a keto diet. Can you imagine eating meat with only salt, without garlic and other spices?

I tried doing what Mindy said by not doing OMAD every day, and I gained weight. I tried BHRT, and I gained weight. Been keto/LC for 4 years, and as soon as I introduced her protocol, everything went to hell. I am not sure all of this advice really works for everyone. To each his own I guess.

Question: if the same type of fast as a routine ends up not giving any more effects, in terms of hormesis or weight loss, does it also mean that the autophagy, the gut reboot and the ketosis will also subside? It shouldn’t be, right?

All that protein could be detrimental for us with cancer imho. I am trying to find info for intermittent fasting for cancer . I've heard it may be beneficial for cancer .
