For anyone who sucks at following instructions that are not suited for their head.
Use your comb and lay it flat on the head. Where the comb is no longer touching the head is the tip of the triangle section. Then section to your eyebrows edge. That’s going to have your sections for bangs but better suited for your head shape.

For the face frame, do short fast little squeezes on the scissors. Do not close the scissors entirely. Push the hair into the corner where you’re doing this and SLOWLY glide the hair down as you’re doing the tiny squeezes.

While I'm not going to do it myself, I will show my SIL who normally cuts my hair this video. She went to school for cosmetology, but didn't like it as a career so she's the family hair stylist. The only problem is everyone in our family either has a men's cut or a pixie... I'm the the only one who has layers and shoulder length hair. After a decade, she had no idea how to do curtain bangs and her first attempt at them she over directed to my eyebrow... And yup, still growing those bad boys out lol

But hey, it's a free haircut. I knew the risks when I asked for something different XD
