8 Important Things You Should Know About Yourself

The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle once said, “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” But how many of us really take the time to reflect on our deepest thoughts, feelings, and experiences to get a good sense of who we are? Nowadays, life moves so fast it sometimes feels like we don’t even have time to breathe, much less taking the time for introspection. But getting to know yourself and learning more about who you are as a person can actually do a lot to make you happier, resolve your inner conflicts, improve your relationships with others, and most of all, improve your relationship with yourself.

*when you’re that introvert who has probably spent too much time thinking about all these things in the past few years because you’d rather self-reflect than interact with others... *

Here’s a tip for some people:
When I was watching the video, I wrote the questions / category’s on paper, then wrote about MY personal responses. For example, in the category “What makes me happy”, I wrote a few short sentences to answer the question! Though it doesn’t matter how long or short your answer is, if you can honestly answer the questions you can really understand yourself better by the time you complete them!

What's sad is that not everyone have the luxury to be someone they really wanna be and be trapped inside practicality

I just spent 30 minutes writing an essay about all this about myself and more and I feel amazing. I never stopped to look at who I am and I just want to tear up because I’m learning to love myself for who I am and know that all the mistakes I make are okay and I’m beautiful just the way I am. I’m sensitive and immature but I’m kind and selfless. I’ve found out so much about myself in just these 30 minutes and I cannot thank you enough for this video ☺️💗

All I really want to say that people don't set standards so high for yourself.I mean improving yourself is great but making yourself perfect is very exhausting and draining.

Don't forget to love yourself 💜💜💜

ah yes "be yourself" but what happens when people are scared of "your true self?"
I know this doesn't apply to most people but it applies to me.

The three most important reasons for self-knowledge:👍
Self-love. If you know yourself, the good, the bad and the ugly, you can start to accept who you are - exactly as you are.
Independence. Self-knowledge makes you independent of the opinions of others.
Clear decision making.
