Herd immunity occurs when a large percentage of a population is immune to an infectious disease. There are two ways to achieve it: by exposing a large percentage of the population to a virus, or by getting a vaccine.

Early predictions estimated that 70% of the population would need immunity to COVID-19 to achieve herd immunity. Without a vaccine, a lot of people would have to suffer - and many die - to achieve this. What measures are you taking to prevent the spread of the virus before a vaccine is ready?

This will only work if it’s guaranteed you can’t get it twice kinda like the chickenpox but doctors don’t know that yet

Okay this video needs to be updated because apparently they've been testing and it appears to be a lot more people have already picked tested positive and already have the antibodies that we are much closer to herd immunity already and quicker than they thought

I don't think you've properly integrated the correct death rate. Every new bit of information we get says it's much less lethal than we thought. Most people will get it and not even know they had it. The vast majority of those will be healthy people under 40. Those people should be at work, now. No social distancing. You'll approach herd immunity when they all have it. It's people over 60 and people with serious health conditions at risk. Save them and diffuse harm to people's lively hoods for a generation by getting those not at risk back to work.
