Herd Immunity is lunacy.

It took but a mere 80M cases for a viral evolution to go from one species into the next truly biologically different version, as per Sars-Cov-2-VOC202012/01 (I simply will refer to this as Sars-Cov-2B) With herd immunity we can expect around 75 mutations before any immunity is achieved, given 6B people needed to be cases first, given the 80M people for the first biologically different version as median. With a median off like 100% it’s still 37–38 mutations that are gonna be biologically different enough. With a median 200% off it’s still 25 mutations. I said so back in March or April, when the Dutch authorities (RIVM) suggested such, and it still is a bad plan. Now that I have a first mutation to calculate with, extrapolation of said number, will yield way too many mutations to be viably herd immunitized against, since the Nth mutation will be different enough from the first, to have zero impact of having contracted the first and having been cured of such. Also, with a to be expected 75 mutations, the final death toll will rise to it’s current multiplied by roughly sqr(75), by very rough approximation. Go China, hard isolate any cases, globally, no travel, and stay indoors for 5 weeks mandatory worldwide, with only full PPE for delivering of food and drink. AFter that, and the isolation there will be very few new cases propping up, and a vaccine may be studied online. That is the only way to avoid a 2nd, 3rd, Nth wave. (up to 75)

At a to be expected 75 mutations before global herd immunity sets in, there’s also the loop factor, which is a consequence of people gaining immunity against Sars-Cov-2a, and believing themselves immune to Sars-Cov-2b75, which is then 75 evolutions of the same virus away from the original strain, starting a loop infection spread.

Being immune against Sars-a does not neccesarliy provide any immunity against the 75th.

Since as of yet there’s no testing which variants are infecting whom, the hospitals themselves without adequate isolation, patient to patient, may be allowing for faster new strain spread than the orginal virus."

Herd immunity, whether through vaccine or natural infection, won't last long. Some said immunity can last as little as 2 weeks!!

If I knew that a party of 100 people was comprised of 40 to 50 people who had no immunity, I would not attend even if I thought I had some level of immunity.
