The Sith Lord invited Anakin to his office, shortly after Obi-Wan had left, and started to raise concerns about Obi-Wan being assigned for the mission. Sidious then told Anakin, that those in the Senate had been trying to remove him by treason, and that there was a rumour that Obi-Wan had been in the residence of Senator Amidala. With Anakin already in a state of unrest, the Jedi knight reacted in horror, as the rumour moved to the furthest reaches of his mind, and his divide from his master had begun.
