My daughter and I discovered this recepe some weeks ago. Since then we`ve made the banana bread several times and always turned as delicious as it can be. Easy to follow and make when visitors are coming. We made one earlier today and had it eaten while having some friends at home. I tried this recipe yesterday and after reading the comments I was really disappointed thinking I was the only person who had failed at this recipe. I had doubled the recipe and added 8 bananas total. I let the mooshy bread sit overnight and wow and behold it tasted great this morning! It was a nice solid and super moist. My whole family loved this bread and it was so easy to make. Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe is in almost exactly the recipe I've been using for years except for the sour cream. I tried it this morning and have to say that I love the difference in texture. Sure it is much softer and some might argue a little more difficult to slice, but my family loved it. I am converted and will bake my banana bread in exactly the same way in the future. Thanks for sharing.

Tried this receipe all the way from Barbados and this is the best banana bread ive ever baked!!! My 5 year old daughter and i bake it twice a month now for the fam and the receipe has not let us down. Thanks

Great recipe! First I used Bob's Red Mill Whole Wheat flour and it came out great! I cut the batter and made 2 smaller loaves. They didn't come out as high but they came out very tasty especially the next day! They didn't last long, between the neighbors and everyone in our house there were only two pieces left! Today I made two more. This time I used Bob's Red Mill "Ivory Wheat " flour. It is whole grain and has 9 grams of fiber per 1/4 cup dry! They came out just as good as the other two! I also didn't use a hand mixer. I mixed everything with a wire whisk according to the steps in this video.

Hi Lidia, if you feel better using oil, you can, butter adds another level of flavor to this, and it's just better, however you may use oil too. Thanks for watching Lidia :-)

Don't really care for banana bread but made it for hubby, it is really delicious and yes very moist. I made it my own by adding 1/2 cup of walnuts. Thank you for the recipe now I won't throw away overripe bananas any more.

I just tried this, it was amazing!! Super moist, and super tasty am from Mexico so I was a little worried about the sour cream being different, but it didn’t matter. And I put chocolate chips on the top. My favorite banana bread ever!
