Easy Banana Bread #shorts

The best, easiest, and super moist banana bread 🤩 it’s really amazing. Banana bread is always my go to dessert!

5 overripe bananas
3/4 cup sugar
5 tbsp softened butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
11/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda

Full Recipe: In a large bowl, peel 4-5 ripe bananas and mash them until they are soft and mushy. Add 3/4 cup sugar and 5 tbsp of softened butter, then mix to combine. Make sure that the softened butter is soft enough to fully mix into the mashed bananas and sugar. Once fully combined, add 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup milk (you can use whole milk or 2% milk), then fully mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated and there are no clumps of butter. If clumps of butter are present, use a hand mixer to blend the butter into the banana bread mixture BUT DO NOT OVERMIX. At this point, sift 1 and 1/2 cup of all purpose flour and 1 tsp baking soda, and mix fully. At this point, you can add any added ingredients such as chocolate chips, walnuts, or a sliced banana on top. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan coated with butter and lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350*F in the oven for 50-55 minutes. To fully cook the banana bread in the middle, cover the top of the pan with aluminum foil halfway through at the 30 minute mark. Once fully baked, let it cool for 10-15 minutes and enjoy!
