Best Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe

The Only Banana Bread Recipe You'll Ever Need

INGREDIENTS

3 medium ripe bananas
1 egg
1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g)
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup melted butter (80g)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (180g)
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup additional add-ins (optional) chopped nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips

Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 50-60 minutes or until a skewer comes out of the center clean.

super underrated recipe it’s so good!! i tweaked it a little and reduced the amount of white sugar, used 2 ripe bananas instead, opted out the cinnamon and replaced it with 1 tsp coffee powder to enhance the flavour of the chocolate. i also reduced the amount of flour by a little since i used 2 bananas instead of 3. super moist and delicious!

Amazing recipe! I’ve made this several times but I’ve swapped white whole wheat flour for regular all-purpose and coconut sugar instead of normal white sugar and it still comes out great every time. I’ve had to add a splash or two of almond milk because the batter comes out a bit dry due to my ingredient swaps but the additional liquid helps and it bakes up great! This will continue to be one of my favorite recipes 😋

I've tried a different recipe and this one came out SO much better. The only difference is that I added an extra egg yolk. I'm very much happy with the delicious outcome!

Just wanted to drop by to say that this recipe is truly phenomenal! Completely fool proof. I substituted AP flour with whole wheat flour and reduced the sugar a little to suite my taste, and it still turned out just as i had expected. ❤
