Narcissists plot their victims' demise. What they really want is for you to go down in a fiery heap. They hope you'll become dependent on them to the point of no return, and if you end your own life in the process, all the better so they can get their hands on some sympathy sex from a new supply. The true question is, what do you want from this breakup? Your future is waiting. Happiness and contentment are just around the corner. True, it's not easy; things are not getting overnight. It takes time, indeed, but at least the choice is yours now.

17 mos & engaged to my Ex who suffers from Bi Polar.
Many ups& downs & break ups! Yep I went back.
23 days now since she set me FREE! Day 7 of NC. I started a journal. WOW! Once I saw it on paper, the Pros/cons, my gut feelings I had for a long time. She always said You are always giving 80-100%. Wow she was right. A few times everyday, I look in the mirror and talk to myself. A pep talk! I'm feeling better and it's getting easier. I realize she is a sick person. I don't think of her as the devil or evil like so many coaches and people do.
I don't want any harm to come to her. Harm will come when she is trying to sleep & that Merry GO round is spinning which it always is, & she realizes what she lost.

Excellent information here! Very well said. This really helps to open my eyes to an ex I left this past September. She recently hoovered me, and broke down my defenses after ignoring her for awhile. After putting me through a betrayal that she was unapologetic towards, most likely blowing up the new supplies relationship, that she had already started seeing before the breakup, I was lured back in. I am now far more aware and feel like I'm watching a train wreck, but haven't found the inner strength to walk away for good.I hope that I can get back out of this again, before letting any further betrayal bring me down again...My only advice in hindsight is to never go back, once you confirm the signs you've been recognizing. The invalidating and disregard of your boundaries starts before you even see it coming! Thanks again for this video!
