Kursk advance: Ukrainian soldier says Sudzha isn't under Russian control

An unidentified Ukrainian soldier says they have searched almost everywhere in Sudzha and no Russian soldiers have been found.

Kyiv is currently conducting its biggest incursion into sovereign Russian territory, in the Kursk region.

Ukrainian forces rammed through the Russian border on August 6 and swept across some Western parts of Russia's Kursk region, a surprise attack that may be aimed at gaining leverage in possible ceasefire talks.
