Zelenskyy tells Putin that war 'coming back home' as Ukrainian troops gain ground in Russia's Kursk

As Ukraine continues its offensive in Kursk, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Monday that Russia had to be forced to make peace as President Vladimir Putin wanted to fight and that war was coming back to Russia after Moscow had taken it to other countries.

"Russia brought war to others, now it's coming home. Ukraine has always wanted only peace, and we will certainly ensure peace," Zelenskyy said.

Meanwhile, Putin said that Ukraine was trying to undermine Russian stability with its incursion into the south of the country, but it would not succeed.

This is like a mosquito bite, no real danger to Russia. They need to negotiate very soon and Zelensky and his government are trying desperately to improve bargaining status. This situation won't last more than a few weeks before they are stomped. Russia has far more versatile artillery including thermobaric bomb that they dropped a couple of days ago and Ukraine has no air support to speak of, so this is in a way a suicide mission.
