Authorities in another Russian border region have ordered evacuations over Ukraine's cross-border incursion.

Civilians living in a district of Belgorod have been ordered by the governor to relocate. Russia has admitted that Ukrainian troops have advanced up to 30 kilometers across the border.

Ukraine's surprise advance, which started in Kursk, is now in its sixth day. It marks the largest attack on Russian soil since the war began.

Don't discount the logistics disruption and the damage to the air fields and threat to the power plant, Russia felt confident that they could leave the border lightly defended due to foolish Western restrictions and Ukraine showed them their error.
