Hi Albert! I’m in a pretty tough spot in life now, and I am thinking of getting a bengal cat (my first pet ever) after I settle at a new place in a new city. After I am done with my day, I just sit in my room alone and watch your videos, I had so much fun learning about your tricks, mia is actually just adorable, and I just have a lot of fun at night now. I am really thankful that I found your channel as my resource and my emotional support, I love your videos, they are clear and warm. I will now forever be a proud subscriber of yours and I can’t wait to show you my own cat!

Hey, Albert! Good to see you again! I got a new cat about 5 months ago, after having a cat who was aggressive and that I had to rehome 😢 So I was ready to work with a cooperative new cat and learned about clicker training just before I found her. She is showing great aptitude for this. Cat questions: 1)food, hopefully a special treat. 2) he wants to get through the door, and he knows that you help him out with that. 3) he needs your attention right where he is! I see you producing merch now...I hope that this adventure is successful for both of you. ❤❤❤

Your videos have helped me so much to train my cat complex tricks! From clicker training to sitting on my shoulder, I've been training her since october of 2022 and we've slowly built up backpack, harness, and leash training. I've been working towards the goal of being able to take my cat to the park and outdoors in general, and we're finally coming close to it! Any tips for car training and getting a cat comfortable in a car? It's the only thing I have left to train her.

1- She wants food or wants to see whats available. 2- She wants you to open the door for her, although when mine wants that, she reaches up for the door handle and looks at me and meows at me. 3- She wants you to go to her, for any number of reasons, but she wants you to go to her.

Aloha!
1. Chicken wing or foot or whatever fresh raw meat’s in there
2. To go through the door out if she’s inside and to come in if she’s outside
3. “Do you know where the lizard I just caught is—I can’t find it!” I can’t count the number of times I’ve moved things, crawled around on the floor with a headband flashlight, and trapped a lizard. It goes into her “swiss cheese” box to keep it better contained.
P.S. She now jumps into her backpack carrier, sits, and stares at me wanting a treat (I haven’t given in). She also, thanks to you, sits and high-fives. Mahalo for your and Mia’s inspiration and FUNtastic times! Happy Hawaiian Hugz!🧡 🌋 💛 🤙🏽 ❤️ 🌺 💜

Hey, nice to find your videos! Bella is not a bengal cat, might be a tiger cat? French here ;)

I'm not sure i understood the test. Did you mean you wanted us to find out what the cat wants in the three situations?
In that case 1. Eat ;)
2. Thinks you need to buy something for her in this shop? 😅 never had this situation!
3. She needs me for something that might be urgent. Just guessing! 😉

Hi! New subscriber here 😊

I stumbled across your videos and have been lowkey studying them for a bit now😅 I have a 5 year old indoor/outdoor cat (he started as indoor but had a strong desire to go outside). I want him to be more of an indoor car, but I want to harness train him so that I can walk him outdoors etc.

I’ve gotten him on a feeding schedule AND have been charging my clicker for maybe a week and half. I think he might be ready to start with more training.

In what order would recommend to train him in with the tricks after charging the clicker? For example would this be recommended:
1. Finger train
2. Come when called
3. Sit and stay
4. Harness train

Would you suggest starting with another trick before the finger trick?

1. Hungry 2. Waiting to get in, or don't open that door if they're sleeping (depending on disposition of the cat—I have one of each). 3. Looking for you and is either frightened or has a menial task for the servants, i.e. me. Probably the second one.

1. food or cool air feeling 2. you to open the door 3. could be anything, maybe to be talked back to - attention of any kind - to play

Just started charging the clicker and the first round went well, but the two next rounds, she pulled away from the treat when I clicked and I'm starting to think she think I click to stop her from getting the treat.. It's a dog clicker and she's pretty wary around loud noises..

1. She wanna climb inside the fridge..
2. She wants to go outside..
3. She got stuck behind a moving box.. again..

1 - My cat doesn't react to the opening of the fridge door. 2 - My cat sits in front of a closed door until I allow her to go inside. I only open the door when she stops "whining." I have a hamster, and he free roams the living room at night, the reason she's been trained to accept closed doors. 3 - My cat doesn’t really meow, and she doesn’t make loud noises. If ever she meowed, it would be soft and short and cute. This means food ahora mismo! 😁

My cat has learned that if she does something wrong (e.g. jumps on dining table) and corrects herself, she will get a treat. So she repeats these actions to get treats. If we don't reward her with treats, she will stay on the table until she does. We remove her and she jumps right back. And now she associates jumping on and off the table with getting treats. How do we teach her to stay away from the table?
