My Nona, like you, was from Napoli and breaded. My other Nona was from Calabria and she breaded, as did my Mom and all my aunts. When you say "real Italians" that takes in a lot of territory. Some real Italians, in some dishes (horrors!) leave garlic in, especially in a 6 hour Sunday Sauce. I like to infuse so the garlic doesn't burn, but that's just me. Love your show, it's just that a lot of folk these days say stuff about "real Italians" when "my Nona " or "real Italian family" would be more true.
We love you and watch all the time! Merry Christmas!!!
