I saw the first part with my parents when I was 10 years old and I knew my mother loved the film.
My mom got excited when I showed her the trailer for Top Gun Maverick. Accordingly, the plan was for me and my parents to see Top Gun 2 in the cinema together. Then Covid 19 came and the film was postponed. When the film finally hit the cinemas, my mother passed away.
The result was that my left seat in the auditorium was empty when the film started. When the film started in the cinema, I cried several times because the film emotionally touched me so often when I looked at my left empty cinema seat.
Thank you mom for everything and I know you sat next to me when the movie was on.
Thank you Tom Cuise for the film.

In 1986 when I was 10 years old my parents took me to see it at the cinema when Top Gun was released. Today, at the age of 46 and with my parents already deceased, I took my children to see this epic movie. I'm glad about the box office success of Maverick! Thank you Tom Cruise for bringing me such pleasant and sweet memories ✈❤

A triumph of a film. That moment in the third act when Warlock says to Maverick - "You're where you belong." That felt like the culmination of a long story. It brought tears to my eyes. Top Gun was there before I joined the military. Maverick was there for my retirement.
