This is going to sound weird but when I didn't care about making friends (I am like Ron Swanson one or two close friendships is enough for me much more and I get overwhelmed) for some reason everyone wanted to be my friend. It is odd cause I tried to hint I was not interested in getting to close by always saying I was busy when invited to things or just give one word reply to questions but that seemed to get them more interested when I ignore then when I use to simp for everyone desperately trying to make a friend no one was interested. So I guess just go to meetups to do the activity first and make friends second make sure it is an activity you actually like. The thinking everyone is a serial killer is irrational look at the data most people are absurdly boring you would be lucky to make a friend that interesting. (INTP Gang)
