I’ve been following you for over 5 years, and have applied the knowledge you provide and my level of playing has improved tremendously. I have a strict practice routine everyday. And you are right it’s not what your practice it’s how you practice. Thank you for the hard work you put into these videos!!🤘

You are an excellent teacher. I love how you talk about your own struggles, what you’ve done to tackle your struggles and demonstrate the results for all to see and hear which clearly show that what you are saying is not BS because the results speak volumes for themselves. I’ve played guitar for nearly 25 years and considered myself good and I’ve been told I’m good by everyone who has seen and heard me play. But, I never realized just how much I don’t know until I started watching your posts for the past year . Arpeggio sweeps of course being my favorite cus I just love the way they sound . And thanks to the advice you share, ,, I’m shredding the hell out of my arpeggio sweeps faster than I EVER thought I could and I absolutely love the way it feels as they just flow through my fingers. You’re the real deal bro🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘🎸

I've played for 25 years and discovered your videos maybe last week. I only learned from tab so having the exercises actually explained was very helpful. Thank you.

When I stumble across sweep picking techniques by other people I'm always amazed on the approach of those. It's true for you too. I got a completely different sweeping motion, pick handeling, muting techniques with both hands and I even include string skipping in regular sweeps.
I started out sweep picking with no lessons, nobody could teach me this and the internet weren't a big thing at the time...at least for me, so I came up with very unique techniques for this by trial and error, teaching it to myself. Always a pleasure to see the same result with very different approaches from very different people. Amazing video, keep it up 💜

I find it hard to stay inspired sometimes. I feel if I can’t play guitar for 4 or so days my learning regresses about 3 months but this very unique approach to improvement has me going again! Thank you 🙏🏼

Great tips, thank you. Also, something that has worked for me is to take a moment at the end of the practice to have fun with some music I've already learnt. That makes me feel the progress better and keeps me motivated to continue practicing.

I've been playing guitar for 19 years and this was such a good reminder to practice this precision.

A protip from my practice: struggle with a tricky part from a cover/something you composed? Make it into an excercise: record the backing track, transcribe the part in MIDI and program it in your DAW in increasing tempos. Of course it won't replace your technique excercises but it's still fun to master something that actually makes sense and which you can use right away

Bernth, I just wanted to say that while I enjoy the style of music you play, it is not the style I want to learn.
But the beauty of your channel is that your tips always include TONS of stuff that is useful to all players, no matter the style they prefer.
thank you!

did I somehow miss the random German word?

I’ve been subbed for a few months now . I’m also a part of your Patreon so thank you for that making that nice and affordable it’s much appreciated. I actually was having this thought today about improvisation and I’m glad this one came up in the algorithm it’s working!🤘 everything you went over is exactly what I was going over in my head all day today and it’s making a lot of sense so thank you. I know this feedback is pleasing to hear so cheers🤘🤘

I've been playing guitar for 7 years. Have been stuck for about 4 years. No progress, confused by medocre/hard riffs, almost lost interest, telling this isnt for me. Started watching your videos 2 months ago, implemented all the stuffs you taught, my skills skyrocketed. Thank you mate!

I started to play electric guitar last month, and I feel extremely lucky that I found your channel. After I complete the very basic concepts, I'll definitely join the patreon community. Thank you for inspiring me.

By trying the first exercise in this video, I just realized my ring finger is dead 😅. It barely responds while trying to move it. Been doing this exercise for some time now, in the wrong way. I taught I had it under my belt, now I`m reconsidering. This is challenging, but only with challenges we grow! Thank you!
