I just started playing and it’s like it completed me. When it starts flowing and you’re jamming it’s like it takes over your soul. Your whole body wants to move with the chords. It’s like speaking a language you didn’t know you knew. I recommend everyone picking up a guitar and trying to play, because it might be calling your name.

Hendrix released that first album with the experience 10 years after picking up a guitar. He didn't have YouTube, teachers, or anything. Did it all by ear. The way he foundout how to tune his guitar properly was he walked to a music store, plucked each string on a guitar at the store, memorized the sound of each string and walked back home to tune his guitar to what he heard.

I’ve been trying to teach myself but I keep giving up because I hate being new at things and want to immediately jump to the part where I can reallly play. I forget it’s a slow and steady process. This really inspired me, thank you queen!!!
