I have an original retail windows11 installation usb will this technique work with it or will I have to download files and create an iso flash drive?

Biggest issue here is the lack of support for old MBR boot bios that does not recognize uefi or csm. I have a 12 year old XPS l502x, that refused windows 11 24h2 no matter which approach i tried. Sometimes it would install the files but would then say update failed before the first boot, other times it would just not boot after loading the files. Each time the installer failed to create a good mbr. This is understandable as mbr is not supported. I installed windows 10, and then installed windows 11 23h2 and its fine. Have not bothered with 24h2 due to all the issues with this release.
