One of the issues that is facing after the update is that running sfc /scannow in the Command Prompt (CMD) consistently reports finding and repairing errors.

just wait a bit after release, read release notes, a section called known issues, this time You should find driver version which causes bsod. if u have affected driver, just update it, and then install 24h2, and it should work just fine. dont update causes end of support and then need update anyway at least for security. clean install is a huge waste of time. and before update make a backup of system drive, it may help a lot.

My pc is running super smooth after 24h2 upgrade without any error, Yes i agree there could be some issues with previous installtion with some people due to which they may get error, otherwise everything is smooth and better

I updated 2 days ago and so far haven't faced any BSODS or driver issues. Everything works fine and even gaming is ok with the newest NVIDIA drivers.

I just cleaned my drive and then installed 24h2 from usb and everything works fine so far

i manage to upgrade my main PC from win11 23H2 to 24H2. So far, there is no issues. Smooth like butter 😁

For BSOD thing on Intel 11th gen CPU (i sst) driver just clean install 24h2(NO UPDATE) it will automatically downloaded the most compatible driver so the issue is fixed then

I just got my system stable, I could play Ghost of Tsushima for 4 hours straight again. Then, this update forced itself on me. Now I can't play 5 minutes without constant CTD's. They broke Starfield, Ghost and many more games.

The reason you are only seeing Balanced power plan in control panel is because you are using a device that is using "Modern Standby".

I can attest to issues with 24H2 as I've had numerous with my Dell Laptop. Just yesterday I called once again & stated that I wanted to revert BACK to 23H2.. So far so good..

Follow-up comment. I clean installed 24H2 on a i5-6200U system, installed all of the latest drivers and no issues to report at this time. Power Mode option is working fine too.
