Euro NCAP Crash & Safety Tests of FIAT 500e 2021

Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
- a frontal impact test, 50% of the width of the car is striking an oncoming deformable barrier, also travelling at 50 km/h
- a frontal impact test, the car impacts a rigid full width barrier
- a side impact test, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door
- a pole test, the tested car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole.
A series of pedestrian tests are conducted with different impactors, adult and child head form, lower and upper leg form and whiplash tests are performed on a sled as well as AEB pedestrian and cyclist tests.
Active safety is tested based on the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking car-to-car scenarios, occupant status monitoring (including seatbelt reminders), lane support and speed assistance technologies.

This is crazy impressive. I drove this as a rental in Spain recently and was slightly worried on the motorway. Clearly i had nothing to fear. Car safety has come a long way

I crashed my Cinquecento into the side of a Ford Transit years ago and got out unscathed so I trust FIAT cars.Ive had a few and theyve all been reliable.And this baby looks tough too😍

It never hit a pedestrian, a biker or another car, nevertheless it got a low score on safety assist. Why is that?

How did it get 67% on the Active Emergency Brakeing (AEB) when it prevented every crash??

They gave it 6 from 13 points because the car does not have built in Childrenseats. That is crazy if you want to drive with children you use special protection seats. But do not downgrade the car because of this!
