Ben! I can’t tell you how much this video helped.
I have been doing keto and intermittent fasting since January 2019. I got my A1C from 14 to 5.2 and lost 180 pounds with your help.
I reached my goal in May 2021. In July 2021 I contracted Covid. I was told I wouldn’t leave the hospital. I believe the miracle was, God prepared my body in advance.
After 5 days in ICU, the same doctor who told me I was going to die, said I was the healthiest person on the floor!
The recovery took me well over a year. I was left with kidney failure.
I have the strength to get back on the ketogenic lifestyle. I gained about 20 pounds. I began October 9th to get my blood glucose back in line.
My fasting morning is 125. During this repositioning my healthy lifestyle, my blood glucose has been in the 70s and 100.
This week my Keto-Mojo was at 6+, off their meter. I changed nothing and my Keto fell under 1.0 and bounces around to over 2.0.
After watching your video, I am not in despair anymore, I believe I am keto adapted.
Do you feel like I am correct and my assumption? I eat less than 10 g of carb a day. No sugar and I read every label to the fullest.
Thank you,
Donna

I've been carnivore for 4 years. I do drink organic, mold free decaf coffee in am. I also have an occasional bit of 100% dark cacao. I eat sardines daily and I am pretty sure I sleep at least 7 hours every night. I also exercide 5 days a week. My fasted glucose every am is in the mid to upper 90's. My AlC is 5.2. My ketones never reguister above .3. Any idea why would this be? Would MCT oil really make the difference? Thanks for your suggestions

How much protein do you recommend for ketosis? I’m trying to get into therapeutic ketosis for a brain movement disorder.

#6 way to increase ketones is exercise! By burning using the glycogen stored in muscles, your body revs up ketones. I have used this now for years as my go to solution for low ketones. Cardio is good, resistance is slightly better. So 1 hours of cardio or 30 minutes of resistance, for me, produces 1 to 1.5 improvement in Ketones.

HI, I love this guy, and have been following for quite awhile now. I am obviously insulin resistant, like most americans and out there, I have been keto/carnivore for 2 months, tracking my macros, keeping protein moderate, and total carbs below 20 g per day. I test with keto mojo and some days I am not even in nutritional ketosis!! What am I doing wrong?? How can I get into that great state of clarity and mental focus? I use MCT oil as well....HELP!! any info would be greatly appreciated, thank

1. TEST BLOOD KETONES (AIM FOR 0.8-2.8)
2. 16oz OF COFFEE 90 MINS AFTER WAKING
3. CUT OUT COW DAIRY AND SWITCH TO GOAT OR SHEEP
4. ACETYL L-CARNITINE 800MG
5. KETONE SUPPLMENT (TO HELP YOU GET ADAPTED...NOT REALLY RECOMMENDED)

I think this is good but it would be nice to talk about things like eating fatty foods. Like should a person eat chicken or beef or greek yogurt, etc.

How long should you use exogenous ketones for? I’m in ketosis following the plan, I’m using these just to help. Just not sure how long you use them for. Thanks for your help.

I have to weigh the benefits and drawbacks. I take caffeine as a supplement when I wake up for energy to do exercise. I feel that the exercise is more beneficial than waiting to drink coffee. Not everything is doable.

I don't over time showing less ketones while testing, I get it that the body uses them more efficiently, but Dr. Boz has been doing this for years and when she shows her meter she is almost always 2.8 -3.0?? If she is that well seasoned why wouldn't hers be very low? Thanks
