What 'Halal' Really Means

The term 'halal' is generally used to describe a lifestyle and, more specifically, butchering practice used by the Muslim community that follows religious law. It turns out it's not that different from kosher and may even be a healthy, more ethical alternative to mass produced meat.

If any animal is going to be killed for consumption then it should be done as humanly as possible without suffering...

I love how the video says almost nothing about what the real halal process is

I think that the rate at which we are consuming meat, means that alot of the practices going on are inhumane and possibly not halal either. Personally I dont want to eat a chicken that has been sat in it's own excrement, fattened to the point it cant stand, and squashed into a cage. I dont imagine that's healthy.

If those are battery hen chickens.then theyre not halal theyre mukru. Halal food is supposed to be free range.

This doesn't nececairly mean the word *Halah* Halah means that it's clean to do so it's not a sin. If you said Halah food more people would understand what halah really means. Halah isn't just about food but about what we as muslims can really do.

nowadays "halal" is just more like a marketing term for Muslims, but the real Halal process isn't followed everywhere, specially in big meat industries, for saving time required, they tend to stop following the halal means

I am wondering how it can be done for mass produced meat

Animals shouldn't be put on claustrophobic cages

This didn't explain what the butchering process is

Funny how they didn't bother to actually show the slaughter process. If it's so calm, humane, and clean, why not demonstrate that to the viewers? It's almost as if it's nothing like that and they don't want to show it because it might look bad...

only few points he said is correct. In halal process, the animal should not feel pain, and whole blood should be out through neck. knife 🗡 should be sharp, so that animal should be killed fast. As the God has created this world for human beings we can eat all things except what has been forbidden.

1.Saying Bismillah is mandatory
2.water should be feeded to animal before slaughtering.
3.knife should be sharp
4.Slaughter should be fast(hands should not stop in between the process, if so then animal will be dying dithering. So bina tadpaaye halaal kare.

that's it. :)

Interesting. In Hungarian "halal" means "death".

Yeah ok and what farm are they sharpening knifes menacingly in front of the animals again? 😂

Why are they kept in cages? They should be out in the open field eating grass and insects. That's not halal if they're in cages. Its just haram now.

YOU KNOWWWW, all the non-Muslims here talking about how we kill animals is barbaric but unmmmm where exactly do you see that ? Hmmmm?? The dude literally said that the animals aren’t injected with hormones or any unnatural thing (something that every other slaughter house is doing ), the animals can not be killed in front of each other ... that’s pure respect y’all ... animals have emotions too, they would go berserk if they saw each other getting slaughtered so instead of doing what every slaughterhouse does (aka kill in bundles ; which is forbidden in Islam ) they actually kill individually.... where’s the torture in that ???? Ur idea of torture is seriously messed up how’s slitting their throats so that Itll be painless torture ??? Torture is when u keep them alive and inflict pain on them, but I don’t see that . If u think it’s torture, Then please feel free to explain a how to kill animals without “torture “?

Idk this still better then most western countries
Here in Australia farm animals were caged up in small place with barely it's really smelly and the animals were poorly treated

It is enough for anybody's need not for greed. I will prefer nonveg only in one condition- that is if to save a humans' life rather than animal's life

The way those animals are living bunched up in a cage is not halal.
