Thank you!!! I have a Muslim friend and it's confused me for ages what he could and couldn't eat. Like he'd always buy the vegetarian option from the canteen, but then bring chicken to school. It actually makes sense now

Cutting a jugular and wind pipe does not cut the central nervous system. That travels central to the spine. So unless you decapitate the animal it will 100% feel the pain.

From my context nothing unnecessary was killed but now i understand that nothing is killed unnecessarily.
