My friend told me, halal when the meat has been pray while slaughter, and no blood, all blood drain, not a single blood Muslim can eat or drink. I respect halal food just sometime when get certify, i heard it quite pricey and the cost added in.

Love..Halal Beef! So true. To me as a non-Muslim it tastes better and the humane aspect is so important. I will always eat it when I can. Luckily we have a lot in NJ/NYC. Healthy great tasting food on the cheap… well not anymore.

Please enlighten me if I'm wrong, but my reading on the subject tells me that slaughtering animals without pre-stunning (pre-stunning prior to slitting an animal's throat is considered haram or forbidden) is considerably more distressing a death for the animal?

The problem with Halal is that it is only prepared by the believers (Muslims) non believers are not employed in this, and nobody talks about that aspect,

That's why it's discriminatory and it is not even mentioned in Quran,

Fssai (Food Safety and standards of India) should take up the case that some other non-governmental agency is doing certification of food and reducing their stature and importance.

Otherwise they should be renamed as Hindustan Anna Laboratory and Assurance License (HALAL)
