“How can you tell how good bread is without tasting it? Not the smell, not the look, but the sound of the crust. Listen.”
Collette knows what she’s talking about

When I was in Culinary school, we had a sourdough starter that was our class pet that we named Jerry and we had to feed him every day until we killed him to use as dough for pizza.

Babish: I love having complex dishes made from very few very simple ingredients

Also Babish: *spends $200 on ingredients making a milkshake*

Two bros, making sourdough, half a foot apart 'cause they're not gay

This is the collab to end all collabs! That bread looks divine

Firstly, i didnt understand what the comment section meant about there being so much sexual tension. I mean, theyre just two men making sourdough.... But now that ive watched the video, it kinda made sense. Somethings blooming and its definitely not the yeast.

His skin was damp with perspiration. He did not know if it was the heat from the oven or... something else. He tried his best to ignore the thought, to forget why he was so bothered. Something he hadn’t been aware of was blossoming, and its existence shook him to the core. He washed his hands as he cleaned off the sticky residue that covered him like a stain, marking him for what he had participated in.

He breathed in deep, exhaling slowly as he attempted to collect himself before going back into the room where it happened. He did not know how he was going to face the camera, but he knew that he could not keep the group waiting. He dabbed his face with the towel, and walked back out.

There he was, laying there, his silky curves facing him. Andrew could not look at him without the feeling swelling in him. He gulped loudly, then stepped forward. “I can do this, just keep your composure, ” he told himself. He looked upon the table he lay, and came to terms with what he had done. He placed his hands on him, and with a simple motion, he began kneading. Relaxing, he looked up, and with a newfound composure, he admitted the awful truth to himself: he was hungry, and he had eaten some of the dough.

"You want to grab it like a baby"
*slaps it down on the countertop*

Ah, I see you mean the Ice Age baby.

The music when babish is alone: "Sit back relax and watch this guy cook some food, and maybe learn how to do it yourself"
The music when someone else is on the show: "Hey everybody it's pARTY TIME"

You can tell they didn't actually play mario cart because they were still talking to each other when they came back.
