thanks, I overused my hand working on a website and my middle finger started catching 2 days ago just a little, now it is catching more this morning. I am trying everything, because I have to play the piano this Sunday! I use my hands for work and this is painful and frustrating! Thanks for the video. Going to ice now!

Thank you! I had a trigger thumb on my left hand that would trigger daily and a trigger middle finger on my right hand that would trigger only occasionally. Your videos helped me cure my trigger thumb completely and now I’ll follow your instructions for treating my finger. Your information given in videos has been so helpful.

Terrific video! You are an excellent presenter. I’m a retired hand therapist with trigger finger. I stumbled over your video and decided to watch, wondering if there was anything new in the world of TF treatment. I have now added the web space massage and the isometric exercise to my treatment routine. I can already tell a difference. Old dogs can learn new tricks!

So positive to feel that there's something I can do while I wait, inevitably, for a hand specialist appointment.

Thanks. Hand specialist I saw last Friday said there are NO exercises for trigger finger. The only treatment is up to 2 cortisone shot and then surgery. And then she gave me some exercises for other hand problems and one of them causes my fingers to trigger - so it sounds like I should stop doing that exercise! I'm hopeful that your exercises will help since I'm only about stage 2.

Thank you! After splinting and following your exercises a few months ago, my trigger thumb was cured. I now have the same problem with my ring finger on the other hand and I'm sure by following your advice and exercises, this too will be cured 😊

interlacing web spacing in between fingers and squeezing both hands tight, helped my middle finger locking and popping problem instantly go away.
I use a wok to cook food and my middle finger starts to pop and lock for 7 weeks. after trying your technique my problem went away instantly. Thank you so much, Michelle.

Your video showing exercises and taping will help me, since my trigger finger was overlooked by a Physician's Assistant paid for by my employer.

I'm glad I found your videos. I just confirmed that what I have been experiencing is TF on the middle finger. My friend had a thumb TF and I remembered so started researching. She had surgery. I do not want to have surgery.

You have provided just what I needed - in a way that I can understand and repeat all of your suggested treatments at home. I have a trigger finger on my right hand ring finger. It causes pain at the MIP which extends down the back of my hand.I have been following your suggestions and feel great improvement. Thank you for your great teaching presence, clear voice, well prepared lesson plan as well as providing realistic details on a timeline for healing. As we get older, age can do a lot of damage to our hands. Arthritis is a terrible burden and the accompanying aches and pains are hard to bear on a daily basis. I look forward to future sessions with your postings, leading to increased flexibility and strength. Thank you.

My GP sent me to a hand specialist. They told me there is no cure and he could help with surgery. That is the only option. I am glad that I am watching this video, and I do hope it helps. Thank you!

So glad you posted on YouTube. I’ve had 2 cortisone shots in my right ring finger. The pain and trigger are coming back. I also notice that it’s a bit painful on the palm side under the finger. I’m going to try your exercises. I’ll also look for a hand surgeon in my HMO. However, I want to avoid surgery if at all possible.

This was a great video! Thankyou. I’ve developed a nasty trigger finger issue with the middle finger of my left hand, just like you show taped up in your video. It’s darn painful, so I really appreciate your instruction.

When I worked part time in the packing dept of a warehouse while in college I developed trigger finger. What worked for me was immobilizing my fingers at the knuckle after I got home from work and while I slept. It took a while but I eventually got to the point where my finger wouldn't catch. The other thing that helped a lot was simply keep my joints warm. Either resting my hands in warm water or, when I was at work, running warm water them in the sink.
