i got trigger finger on my ring finger... it was so bad i had to get a injection of steriod....it hurt...the pain was like unlike i ever felt... it worked for 5 months... it recently came back...i have to go back again and see what they need to do.... i rather do open hand surgery cuz the injection was to painful and didnt work...

I want to know the root cause of this, inflammation yes but is it down to modern lifestyle? The ligament doesn't swell for fun, there has to be a common cause other than using the hand for what nature intinded.
