My thumb is inclined to bend in after a brain bleed. I can straighten it, but its default is bent. Not exactly a trigger, but I wondered whether to wear a splint? Which exercises would help? I love your videos, they have been so helpful, and your down to earth presentation is charming😊

I have a new first time trigger finger thing since an auto accident st December. Interesting help here and the hand PT I was having didn't seem to address it clearly and kept trying to blame age. When I sleep and wake up the trigger effect is there and once start moving around and doing things it goes away. I hope to get on this now and prevent future issues. I was an auto mechanic for decades and can't do it but exercises are helping big time to prevent going backward. I don't sit around and grow... I am active. I'll see if I can afford prices .. auto situation continues as of this date.

First of all, thank you for sharing your knowledge - I just found your channel and love all the helpful advice and exercises!

3 years ago I found that both my pinky fingers "lock" when extended (left hand more than right). After lots of searching I found the name for it "swan neck" syndrome. I saw a doctor who suggested surgery and a physiotherapist who suggested taping the joint. As far as I know it is not rheumatoid arthritis. I am currently wearing a custom made silver ring/splint that helps, but I would like to know if there are any exercises I can do to stop relying on the splint so much (I feel it is weakening the joint, making it very vulnerable if the ring is off). Can you please help with some exercise advice?

I have a trigger thumb which is painful and difficult to manage. Physio recommended acsplint which has reduced pain and stopped it sticking. He says next step is a cortisone injection which should sort it. Hope so. 🙏

What could you advise to do for tendonosis from handmilking a goat? I damaged my hands, mainly tops of my hands, but also wrists and insides..i did it over pain for 4+ months, evening and morning...that was summer and fall 2022. Spring 2023 i worsened the already persisting pain by crazy amount of hard work putting up fencing and gardening landscaping and handeling animals. Since then I really suffer with decreased mobility, constant dull ache, and increased pain when I use my hands for anything.I am a 30year old mother of 3, homemaker, baker, writer...I love working with my hands in all sorts of creative ways, play piano...it's hard to have hope and very hard to find good information. All tendonosis videos are about other tendons like Achilles, and for me it's many small tendons.

You already fixed my trigger finger challenge in an early video. Something that a cortisone shot did not solve.
