Toyota Yaris HEV 130: CITY fuel consumption economy real test mpg traffic jam hybrid130 2025

Here you have the CITY fuel consumption (fuel economy real-life test) of 2024 & 2025 Toyota Yaris Hybrid 130 HP in a city (urban area, also in heavy traffic). This car has hybrid system with 1.5l petrol engine (inline-3) + electric motors. System power: 96 kW (130 HP), FWD, automatic transmission e-CVT. Result: 2.9 l/100 km (81.1 mpg US / 97.4 mpg UK). Travelled time with combustion engine off: 01:08:40 out of 01:18:00 = ~88%.

As always, I checked real fuel consumption on a petrol station. I noticed -1% difference: computer shows consumption HIGHER by 1% comparing to what I refueled.

Thank you, these cars have staggering good mpg around town. Our 23 yaris averaged 72.6 mpg for the yr (15, 000 miles )Mid 70s in summer, high 60s winter.

I bought the pear white premier edition. Low consumption, awesome tech. But the ride is harsh and the build quality poor in some places. But I really like it

This one is on top of my list as a second family car, but I am aiming at GR trim, sadly it has bigger wheels and suspension tuned even firmer, so it might be a bit more bumpy in town, but on back roads it would be really fun to drive.
Hopefully, I will have some spare time tomorrow when I visit Toyota centre in Prague and have the opportunity to at least peek inside and figure out how two kids and small dog will fit there 😀

Siemanko, jestem wielkim fanem twoich filmików, szczególnie testów spalania :) Czy jest szansa że przetestujesz którąś z hybryd toyoty startując z „zimnego” silnika? Jestem ciekaw ile czasu nagrzewa się silnik… Czy jest możliwość na jakieś wsparcie twojego kanału?
