I’ve been using an LG OLED C7 with my Xbox One X for the last 3 years and I love it. Fantastic for gaming and movies.Just one issue with OLED TVs. Be careful with screen burn. It shouldn’t be a problem for most people but if you play the same game for hours, static graphics can cause screen burn. I generally just play Titanfall 2. Sometimes for up to 10 hours straight and I’ve had this issue.

makes it so much easyer to have a complete setup with you pc and consol all to the same monitor without the sound problems from the consol part so yeah when i finally gonna put a new setup together I will look into the tv gaming instead of normal monitor

One plus: you can run it at 3840 X 1600. And since it is Oled, you do not get any light bleed.

I own the 65" CX. Try changing the settings back to Native 4K UHD and the Windows display setting to HDR. You will have HDR with 60hz. Doom looks way better with HDR enabled and many other games. Makes the games really pop on these OLEDs man. I find it worth the FPS drop while we wait for the new 3090 graphics cards with full HDMI 2.1 capabilities to give us HDR and 4K at 120 HZ.

How is it using it long term? Is it too big of a screen for desk use?

I pity anyone who doesn't have this as their PC gaming monitor. IT'S PHENOMENAL. . There is a service menu trick that takes color accuracy to $20k reference monitor levels.

if you're trying to have some burned pixel in the 'activate windows' area, you're doing great so far! :D

I can imagine how many of units have LG sold since introducing this 48inch variant

I hope they make a 32" version, 48" is too big for a monitor.

Earned a sub here, thanks for this review

Another thing I hate is the trend of only caring about 55" and up, no more high quality TV's above 40". 55" can look gigantic for personal room or even an avrg bedroom where you don't want the TV to be the main focus.

Bought the 48inch CX and returned for the 65inch.

It's just too big for a monitor, you can sit back and all but in the end it feels "weird" also emitting mucho more light than the typical 24-32" monitor. 32" in on the limits of being comfortable.

28" 1440p 120-144Hz is the way to go for OLED monitors. That way their 70% ABW wouldn't be crippled as much vs having to cope with a bigger panel.

You needed 48 gbits/sek to stream 12 bit colour in 120 hertz but literally no one even has a 12 bit panel, so this 8 gbits don’t matter at all.

Man that looks so smooth! But due to my budget this Winter I'm gonna go with the nano 85 49 inch series tv. :)

I am using a 43 inch but 48 is a bit of a overkill for me. I barely got used to 43 inch. 40inch would be the sweetspot and it would be also better for the PPI and overall sharpness.
