I have been using this display for the last week also on a desk. I thought 48" would be too big but to be honest I barely notice now. It looks AMAZING. For me, this is the perfect gaming display.

With infinite contrast you have perfect blacks which means no blooming clouding like you get on LCD QLEDS which gives you a milky washed out image in both the highlights/ shadow details. People tend to think people brightness will cover it up but it doesn't with any solid tv i feel it starts with contrast ratio which is why OLEDS with lower peak brightness makes QLEDS with higher peak brightness look bad. The dimming zones in a QLED doesnt hold up to 8, 294, 400 pixels / dimming zones in a 4k oled..

Exactly! I’m playing COD war zone on it and when using BFI(medium) it’s helped my KD a lot since there’s no motion blur and it’s easier to track enemies while ADS. Also when using a thermal scope the greys and blacks are easier to see and can distinguish enemies from the background more easily. 👍🏼 OLEDS a game changer. Also why black low? PC uses 00-255 it should be high.

Brightness at 52 was measured to show no loss of blacks on HDTV test.

Everyone wanted a small OLED Display, there doesn't seem to be a proper OLED PC monitor yet, the CX 48 is the closet thing right now. Maybe LG will make a smaller version in the future.

Nice video. One think I'm confused about, i thought HDMI could only do 1440p at 120hz. I see that it looks like you're doing 4K/120 hz. Is that becasue you're using 8 bit with 4:2:0 chroma sub sampling? I didn't really pay much attention to those details because I'm currently using a monitor with display port but I'm getting this TV.
