It has the latest A9 Gen 3 processor, variable frame rates, G-Sync compatibility, and AI Picture pro and AI Sound pro! It really is a beautiful TV, but there are some things to consider also, like the possible OLED burn-in issue, the comparison vs the Samsung QLED TV range and the LG Web OS settings and features. The 2019 LG OLED C9 was also G-Sync compatible. This isn’t the first.

Thanks for this great review! Just one question: isn't the burn-in problem with OLED an issue if you want to use the TV's stand by picture mode (to avoid having a big black square in the middle of your living room). Love the TV but this worries me.

Never owned an OLED before and want it in a room where its light during the day (window behind). However Im not a brightness junkie. I will be replacing an 11 year old LCD tv that isnt as bright as todays TVs and I only keep it on 50% brightness as it is. yes its a bit faint in the daytime, but I mostly use it for casual stuff in the day and movies and gaming are in the evening, so Im hoping it will be bright enough.

Please note that ''burn-in'' on OLED isn't equal to actual burn-in like on CRT and Plasma TVs. On CRT/Plasmsa you could get burn in from (hypothetically) leaving a red logo on for 20+ hours in one go and it literally burnt in. That won't happen with OLED, where it's basically more un-even pixel wear. *But* what can happen is that same logo will burn in after 200+ hours... cumulatively. That means that even if you do mix up your content, after 200+ hours of having that logo on screen, that logo will burn in (again; hypothetical numbers here; it won't be that drastic probably). I think it's something worth noting. So if you're a huge gamer, don't worry about that one 8-hour sitting you did that one weekend, but do worry about that card game with bright colors you intend to spend 2000 hours on over the next 2 years. That might be an issue. Or bright HUDS like Overwatch/Destiny if you intend to spend hundreds of hours (if not thousands) in total. And yes: that's mostly also why you barely hear any C8 owners about burn-in and basically no C9/CX owners. Not only do they have better protection but... they're simply not out long enough to have accumulated the time to cause this effect unless someone's literally sitting at home playing games 20 hours a day since launch.

I got this tv for 1600€ for 55 inch, the only worry I have is the longevity. I pretty much use it as a gaming device using a lcd as a daily driver. But the picture quality and motion quality is absolutely unmatched at this point. It is like a mirror when faced directly with day light which is a big problem if you can not position the tv accordingly. It is is so flimsy that I actually keep the packaging for it for the first time in like ever because I can not imagine transporting it without it without breaking it withithout the original packaging. 2 weeks in, this is amazing nonetheless. But.. why does this tv at this price point not have display port? Future grafic cards will not care, but my 1080ti can not go above 60 HZ because of that.

2:17 I see you have a trailer of Gran Turismo 7 there. I really hope they add a lot of cars to the game.

I would not buy another LG OLED. Burn in is a real problem. My 2 year old LG OLED now has Nick and Breaking News burnt into the screen and LG want to charge £200 to fix. There is no doubt that these TVs are lovely to look at but are let down by image retention. Stay away from OLED

I’ve had an LG LCD TV for the last 5 years and am looking to upgrade as the PS5 needs HDMI 2.1 for best results. I like LG TVs but not sure that my next one is going to be an LG. They haven’t updated my version of Web OS and so it’s missing apps/channels I’m interested in. Personally, I don’t see that OLED’s advantages are worth the premium price. So, still looking. Any ideas?

Hello again, just a heads up: The CX 65" is on sale now on Amazon for only $1896.99 US Dollars since a few hours ago, that's $353 cheaper than what we bought for a week ago, maybe that's enough of a good deal for you before black friday?
