LG OLED 65 CX TV - Base Assembly

The LG TV, OLED 65 CX has a very challenging base assembly. The rest of the assembly and installation of the TV is easy. But the base, yes, it's all about the base. Here's how you assemble it, and how to set the TV the keep LG from selling your data to third parties.

Thanks for this! Can’t believe they didn’t include instructions. The suggestion of laying the tv on the styrofoam to attach the base was really helpful. I almost broke the base trying to slide it on a different way.

Thanks for the tips! I'd only recommend to place the TV on it's own box to put the base. This way we have enough space to put the base without any possible way to force the display and damage the TV by bending it down.

Just got a 55" model. The "expert" who installed mine stood the TV upside down to attach the stand, so the weight of TV and stand was on the top edge of the display. Gave me cause for concern at the time but didn't know it was wrong until after he'd left and I check here. No damage done luckily.
