Why Shae Secretly Hated Sansa Stark 😨

Shae was a completely different person in the books. She really didn’t care for Tyrion either

I hated that they turned her into an actually nice person in the show, only to throw that away in the end. I've always said that her final show scene would have fit the book Shae better and vice versa. I can see book Shae attacking Tyrion coz she never felt anything for him. TV Shae should have died begging Tyrion to forgive her.

Shae in the book NEVER loved Tyrion. From start to finish she was a pro after $$$. At the beginning Tyrion was well aware of this and fine with it. But as time passed he started wanting more and let himself believe it.

Shae is just playing games and playing him like a fiddle. Tyrion has a weakness for damsels who pretend to like him as much as dany with older women since they always betray them. Rob was honor. List goes on

Shae was jealous of Sansa in the show too.
No matter what she was never a good person.
Tyrion bought her to lie to him and she did.
Better than he could imagine and he startet to believe her. And why wouldn't she. He would be a gentle lover and gave her a good life.
After he was imprisoned and she got caught of course she threw him under the bus when getting an offer by Tywin.

My only gripe with this video is that it does not explain HOW Shae is jealous or WHY

I think that's one thing I really like in the show more than in the books. Shae trying to protect Sansa, even though she is jealous. She knows it's not the girls fault (I mean, yeah it's not Tyrions either but well...).
It's an interesting dynamic between those characters, made me watch it with more interest than another jealousy women hating each other story that usually takes part in such moments.

But that also means it made me dislike her death.
Yeah, she was hurt by Tyrions actions. But was it really so bad she had to sleep with his father (who mentioned that he wanted her dead a few times lol)?
I don't see why this would be her next action while Tyrion is locked up waiting for his death.
Also, since when was Tywin interested in paying women for sleeping with him? We never saw that aswell.
And if they wanted her to be in just for the money they didn't really get that point across at all in the episodes beforehand.

Hate? Hm, feels more indifferent as she knows Tyrion is truly picking her. A baby via Sansa wouldn’t change whose bed he’d choose at the end of the night

It’s also funny how Tyrion kept thinking how Shae would be upset with him if he married Sansa but when he told Shae about the marriage she didn’t care at all……Shae used Tyrion just as much as Tyrion used her and yes Tyrion was absolutely using and abusing her

Even if Shae was desperately in love with Tyrion there would be no point in trying to stop the wedding.

Tyrion being aware that Shae was indifferent because she's a prostitute not because she lives him is the only time except his first night with Shae that he truly acknowledged their real relationship.

This isn't hate, this is indifference. TV-Shae might've secretly hated Sansa deep down, and it was a big source of conflict in Season 4...

Shae hated Sansa because she was younger, taller, prettier, genuinely regal, and more of a lady than she would ever hope to be: typical jealousy.

They tried to make her more "likeable" in the show but still end up being hated. She still comes off as premadonna in the tv series.
