Confessed? Have some respect Jamie, she did not confess, Lady Olenna boasted 😂 she was bragging big time.

Cersei made the mistake of thinking she's the only one who will murder to protect her children.

Funny how Cersei called Jamie the stupidest Lannister, but he understood Olenna’s motives way better than Cersei did.

I love how Jaime doesn’t even care about Joffrey, he’s just happy that Tyrion is cleared 😂

when Jamie said if you were Olenna would you rather see your granddaughter married to Joffrey or Tommen... BAM.. Right then and there Cersei knew it was true...

She totally doesn't acknowledge Tyrions innocence

It's at this point cersie knew she was the one who destroyed her family not Tyrion. By blaming Tyrion she put her whole family to death

I love how Jaime assumed Olenna killed Joffrey so that Margaery could marry a more controllable husband since that's what Tywin would've done, but in reality, Olenna just did it to save her granddaughter from marrying a spoilt sociopath.

I love how she realizes that some dead old lady still outsmarted her

Cersei's greatest flaw has always been her hate for Tyrion. When Tyrion was named acting hand of the king, he used that position to try and save Kings Landing, his niece and nephews. meanwhile Cersei worked to undermine Tyrion, regardless of the fact that he was working to save their family.
She spread rumors that everything going wrong in the city was his fault and not Joffrey's in order to discredit him at every turn. Cersei should have put aside her hate and worked together with Tyrion to protect her children, but we all know that would never happen ¬¬
Cersei hated Tyrion so much that she couldn't entertain the possiblity that MAYBE it wasn't him that killed Joffrey.
From my point of view, Cersei's stubborn desire to see Tyrion dead is what killed most of her family.
Tywin died because she pushed Tyrion too far, by rigging the trial against him.
Joffrey died because she couldn't work with Tyrion to help control him.
Myrcella died in an act of vengence because of the events of Cersei's trial against Tyrion.
Every Lannister death in the show in my opinion, has ultimately been her fault.

Cersei got all her children killed.

Tyrion tried to get Cersei to control Joffrey, but failed which made him stay the monster he was. Olena did not want her grand daughter, Margery Tyrell, to marry Joffrey because she knew how horrible he was and so she poisoned him.

She blamed Tyrion for Joffrey’s death, because she hated him, which lead to Tyrion demanding for a trial by combat. Oberyn Martell fought for him and got himself killed by the mountain, which lead to Ellaria to seek vengeance by poisoning Cersei’s daughter, Myrcella.

Then Cersei blew up the Sept of Bailor, with Margery Tyrell, Tommen’s queen that he loved, killing everyone in there and that lead to his suicide.

Probably my favorite acting performance at 1:52.
I was amazed how Lena Headey's face communicated that Cersei was gradually going from ironical disbelief to painful acknowledgment almost without moving: her smile fade and the focus of her eyesight loosens. That's all and that's enough. When she lower her head and sits, we already know she finally got it.

1:40 Pffft! CONFESSED!? Try outright, straight up BRAGGING that she was the one who did it!

I love how that smug look washes off of her face as Jamie says "If you were Olenna, would you rather have seen your granddaughter married to Joffrey or Tommen?"

Lena Heady is SUCH a great actress. You can see it on her face the moment it clicks that was Jamie is saying is true; she doesn't even have to do much it's just like a shift of her eyes and you can see her whole world is crashing down. Seriously so good

I'm forever dissatisfied with the fact that Olenna won't get to see Cersei dead

Lena says she plays Cercei as a spoilt 15 year old girl. Someone who has never been told no and has never had to develop the maturity to deal with problems in an constructive manner.

1:40 - "She confessed.."

Gloated Jamie, she gloated like a boss.

To be honest, GoT is pretty much just a case study in what happens when people who shouldn't have power end up having just that. Seriously, like 98% of the characters in this show should never ever be allowed to decide anything, let alone be responsible for other people's lives.

The downfall of house Lannister is entirely due to the hatred of Tywin and Cersei towards Tyrion. Without it that house would be unstoppable.
