Tyrion meets Sansa again at Winterfell - Game Of Thrones Season 8 Episode 1

I laughed so hard when I figured out what she meant by that.

It wasn't necessarily that Sansa lacked respect for Tyrion- it's just the simple facts that 1. He's the hand of a queen she doesn't like and 2. He seemed like a fool for believing Cersei. Those two things might of put a dent in the little respect that she held for Tyrion.

Sansa has a lot to be grateful to Tyrian for, but like the rest of us she just can't bear to see how poor the writing for this character had gotten by this point...

Sansa still adores Tyrion; she's just become _harder_ and _cooler, _ maybe even a bit cold. Who could blame her? Tyrion is like a lot of highly intelligent people -- they show amazing insight over & over, but eventually some points of naivete show through, and they are proved wrong over & over. Dismissing them for the times they are wrong would be a big mistake.

I wish they had united in season 7. It was at least better than the last one. Their dialogue could've been stronger and deeper. I believe Sansa would show more interest and respect in Tyrion in their reunion after many years because while she was living the hell, he used to be literally the only person who treated her nice. He really took care of her when she was younger. I don't know, I wish she seemed happy to see him.

You can see Tyrion being like "oh shit I guess I should talk to my ex-wife about some stuff, make sure there are no hard feelings or whatever" and Sansa is just like "oh shit it's my ex dear God get me away from him"

The fact that Tyrion believed his sister is so contrary to his character in the earlier seasons. While this scene is nice, the writing was just so bad in the last seasons.

Tyrion was hands down one of the main reasons she was protected in Kings Landing, deserves a bit more respect than this.

As shitty as writing in season 8 was, that's still one of my favourite quotes from Sansa. It's not only the moment when you realise that she's now on the same level intellectually as the great smart men around her. It's also the moment when she realises that love can turn even the smartest man into an idiot, as she stated in her conversation with Daenerys.
