I keep them all in the frig. The climate is different here in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 So you may want to make another video on certain climates. 🤔 but thank you for sharing your information. I will be moving back to the mainland of the U.S and it will be helpful just the same..this state holds all 4 seasons..

From childhood in the 1950s, I learned by example, from family and freinds . Fruit, was eaten fresh or, coked or preserved as either a jely, jam, or slices or halves . Vegetables, before the freezer got preserved in a brine sweetened with sugar, and spices if mum thought to put them in . Most of our vegetables were fresh, we had our own hens, yet still had to supplement at times . After moving to a warmer climate, no chickens, still a vege garden with the bonus of variety and additional fresh vege, and fruit, from local market producers .
The excess, still got preserved - the fruit in bottles, along with the condiments . The vegetables, depending on type - asparagrass, peas beans, carrots went in the freezer with the meats . Some fruit pulps were frozen also like passion fruit, to extract more juice for other uses .

Tip with eggs . Indoors, use a wire basket which hangs, and has a small spring, this helps keep the eggs longer, as every time you go into them, it's like the hen is attending the egg, mimicking nature .
Same if you're fortunate enough to be on a yaught . Eggs kept in a cupboard out of the sun, on board will keep very well - several months - due to the motion of the ocean on the boat thats floating your eggs - this again mimicks nature . Should be similar in an RV , if it's not parked up all the time .

I don't keep most of the items listed in the fridge. However, since eggs are already in the store's fridge, I keep them in mine as well. I'd also be interested to know about avocados. I keep them out.
