I was using Creatine on a cut and it was amazing performance and recovery wise, but it unfortunately gave me digestive issues and I was peeing so much it was just a constant burden.

Some people are outliers and it can cause water weight and belly bloat. It's rare but even on a strict diet and hydrated I'd still have nasty gut bloat. I've tried creatine for over 20 years with the same results.

I lost 200 lbs taking creatine! I started taking creatine and stopped doing pizza mukbang or ordering McDonald's everytime I'd wake up in the middle of the night! Creatine literally melted the lbs away!

For the loading fase I was dieting and got very confused for a few weeks as i was actually gaining 1 kilo per week, I weighted 112kilos, then 115kg at the end of the month, I thought that I fucked up my calories or something, but it ended up being the water retention, because I looked leaner and more muscular, then week by week my weight started to drop again because I already filled the muscles with water and now im back down at 112 kg way stronger and leaner than before looking at the pictures, so dont get scared if you go up in weight starting, becase its all water retention in the muscle, it doesnt make you fat, you can lose fat and mantain or even gain muscle while on creatine, we have to look at the mirror a litle bit more and step out of the scale, if you feel and look better you are better dont obses yourself with the scale

Me last weekend thinking not drinking water would make me look better in my outfit 😂 i ended up just getting super nauseous because i started taking shots against my better judgment🥲 the more you learn tho, thanks for the informative video as always!

The monohydrate bloats me but the Kre-alkylyn and micronized creatine is great for me.

Hey, I have a doubt. Let's say I am doing cardio along with strength training to lose fat and gain muscle. But if I take creatine, wouldn't that also fuel my cardio session? That's not good because I want energy taken from the carbs and fats rather than creatine, especially when running.

I have take creatine before in the past and I have gotten bigger and stronger. I was also told that I would get fat. I hired a coach and got my nutrition better. Am I bigger? Yes. I'm 6'3 395 but I wear clothes that someone 100lbs less them me does. I run and operate like any other athlete so it's awsome I have set so many pr's on it and I love it. I am in the proccess of a weight drop for halloween. The creatine is not going anywhere.

My stomach does look bloated. It’s huge… but I have been loading for over a week so hopefully the belly bloating stops soon and I see the effects. I look huge today.

Would you guys recommend taking creatine while fasting? For example in the mornings pre workout?

People bloating... please, mix your creatine 5g in 32oz water bottle, and drink spacingly. If you load for a week do this, morning, noon, late afternoon then around 8-9pm.

I have minor gut issues with creatine. I typically add to a protein shake. Any recommendations on a quality, clean creatine that may limit that?

Id only say that "looks" is subjectively better off creatine, not arguing that water is stored "outside" the muscle at all, simply stating that I know for a fact that my muscles get rounder when on creatine. Sure, that makes them look bigger, but I just tend to prefer the "carved out of wood" look which contrasts well against the so mainstream bloated bodybuilder trend.
