Dang I just commented but this always surprises me. I mean it was a terrible time, they didn’t have much to stand on, and the fact people came together and key word, rebuilt, repaired, the buildings and churches that were, is just amazing. Theres photos even of civilians having to go about their day amongst all the rubble. Imagine if that happened here in America, everyone would use that as an excuse to give up, not go to work or have an uproar. Its just amazing
