Thank you for your posting these pictures of different places in WW2. I had family in WW2 and these photos are really hitting home to me. My grandpa was ARMY AIRBORNE and he saw a lot and he didn't talk about it.I respect that and never asked any questions. To all the service members and there families. God bless you all and thank you very much. Freedom isn't free, 🇺🇲💯❤⚘💙⚘🌄

You’re blessed to get to travel to these awesome places and share them with us. Your research and photo comparisons are awesome. Putting them to Saving Private Ryan, the pacific, and Band of Brothers music is awesome. I remember watching Saving Private Ryan and the musical score always made me really connect with it. John Williams’ genius song composition of course! I’m not sure who composed the music for the pacific and band of brothers, but equally powerful musical scores! Thanks again!

To me other than helping stray animals and perhaps donating to a childrens hospital, you are doing the most kindest deed. Every one of these men had their lives turned upside down to fight this war. On all sides. And we go on daily not understanding the sacrifice

It seems cool now.But the uncertainty of the future must have been off the charts and frightening images of the past. You are an amazing historian.

To be able to stand where they were would be awesome, such men wont be back. Their time on earth is gone. What an amazing legacy they left to the world😢
