Been there on those famous beaches. They are hughe! From history lessons and granddads stories we learned a lot of what happened there. Thx to those heroes from over the sea who fought for our freedom, and our other allies. And the women behind them, keeping the home front alive and well.

You just couldn't even imagine what layed ahead as they all departed from there safety onto Omaha beach on D-day 1944 but I guess not much has changed from these photos thank you for sharing this
