1. Create eating windows & fasting windows

2. Eat natures foods - not human made (processed food)

3. Move your body- walking in nature will bring down your cortisol levels

4. Prioritise sleep - try and sleep for 9 hours a night

5. Prioritise light - go for a walk these times of the day ‘sunrise, midday and sunset -helps set the circadian rhythm

6. Chemical free living- can you understand the ingredients in the food? Don’t put toxins on your skin

7. Prioritise Connection- hang out with people that make you feel good- watch a video that makes you feel good …. It develops oxytocin. Connection and kindness affect your health’ .. ❤

Dr. Mindy, I’m 52, in my first year of menopause, gained about 15 lbs. My doctor wanted me to get on ozempic to lose 20lbs. Thanks to your videos and your extensive teaching about what is happening to my body and hormones, I made some drastic changes and lost 16 lbs so far since June 20, 2024! I walked every day for 30 minutes, did two 3 day water fast, ate more healthy fats and increased my protein. I have about 10 lbs to go, I feel great, my skin looks better, inflammation has gone down, my energy is way up too. My husband wanted to support me and has also lost 15 lbs. It’s incredibly frustrating to me that doctors just want to medicate instead of take the time to teach us what is happening inside, and how to combat it. Thanks so much!!!!

A story I must share, I have so much to say!! Your videos here on YouTube Dr. Mindy has literally given me newfound strength and tools to overcome/ keep in check my anorexic and bulimic behaviors!! I've been under a Doctor's care for decades... I was 11 yrs old when it started, and I'm now 62. My Doctor today, at my appointment, told me it's time to share with you my results, and give you feedback on your YouTube channel. I found your channel in February 2024, and watch daily for continued support. Since I implemented your intermittent fasting, with a combination of the longer fasts for autophagy, I have lost 41 lbs. I have accomplished this weightloss with eating in an eating window. My extremely difficult daily struggle with keeping my eating disordered behaviors and thought processes in check, are in remission since the discovery of you, Dr. Mindy in February !! I've never been a junk food eater...and always have been a conscious counter of carbs, and salt intake, so the need to change what i eat wasn't the issue. After listening to your teachings, im wondering if my years of battling weight has to do with excess cortisol production caused by the stress of my daily struggle with keeping my eating disorders in check and when I chose to eat when I did eat !! Since February, my new favorite carb food has been a sweet potato with walnuts, tumeric and black pepper!! I would have never eaten this thinking it had too many carbs !! Now when I shop I say... nature's carbs. I bought a keto mojo as you recommended, and keep my daily glucose numbers in the high sixties, low seventies. I try to keep my ketones around 3, for an optimal balance, otherwise, they will go higher. I've never had a problem getting into ketosis... it's more not letting them get too high for me. I've never had high blood pressure, or diabetes, or high cholesterol to the amazement of my doctor's given my eating disordered history. I find the eating window that's best to achieve my daily goal numbers, is at 18 hrs of fasting. I can not thank you enough, just no words to express my gratitude, for your upbeat personality, your teachings of this lifestyle, and the thankfulness for my ability now to relax in my daily eating life !! I truly believe you were GOD sent !! I prayed for a miracle, and found your YouTube channel !! At 62 years old, I'm just tired of fighting this disease trying to keep as healthy as I can, for my daughter and grandson. They have been always my reason to keep fighting for my health, and now I live in ease !! No other doctor has been able to help me, or get through to me the way you have. My biggest issue is estrogen dominance. I easily gain weight in my thighs and lower abdomen. I think the main cause is chronic stress.

I found this amazing lady by mistake and I didn’t want to listen to “another guru” speaking about fasting until I decided to try. Guess what? I was doing great on Keto, but I missed carbs so when I heard that carbs were needed for progesterone I jumped on board, but it has been a fiasco. I’ve gained 30 pounds. I’ve followed everything in her book. Headed back to healthy Dr Eric Berg keto to see if I can lose the weight all over again. Proof positive for me that there is no one way for everyone. 😢

Here to say thank you so much to Dr. Pelz! I had been carrying around an extra 20-30 lbs after having my two children for 15 years. I’m perimenopausal and the things that worked before to lose weight stopped working, so I gave up trying. I found Dr. Pelz on the Diary of a CEO last year… fasting has been amazing for me. Yes, this happened to me… I started restricting and was so so stressed I gained 20 lbs this year. This is SO exhausting. I tried to fast but then wanted to binge when the window opened. It’s been such an awful experience.

Hey Dr Mindy, I am a 49 year old man from Pakistan and an ardent admirer of what you do! (you have fans in this part of the world too 😊). I have lost about 25 pounds in about two months but have done it my own way, which is not pure intermittent fasting. The thing is that I can easily do an 18/6 fast but my day job is such that I have to have black tea with milk in the morning, a small quantity of milk though. In Pakistan and India, we are mainly black tea drinkers and have coffee less frequently than tea. Since I've been losing weight, I have gone on with this "version" of fasting. I have no liking for tea without milk at all. How do you see my approach to this? Please advise. And thank you again for all the great stuff you're doing for the world!!!

Your videos do fill us up!! My husband and I LOVE to watch your videos! They ALWAYS inspire us to eat better, fast more and love our bodies by doing those things! Chad, my husband has Hodgkins Lymphoma and is on IV Immunotherapy. Opdivo is the drug he’s on.. it makes people diabetic.. so did the last one he was on.. so he has to fast a lot to control his blood sugar! Thanks for your videos! They have helped him learn how to do that! I am perimenopausal and several deaths in our family the last year has made my cortisol skyrocket and I gained weight! Thanks again for this specific video! Dr. Mindy, I am 59, recovering from ACDF surgery (10 days). I recently found your channel and it's been very helpful. I started fasting during COVID and lost weight and subsequently been able to maintain my weight. Today's podcast blew my mind, I intuitively know what obesogens are but I am intrigued and excited to learn more.
During recovery I am supposed to walk, which I am doing a lot less than I was a presurgery. IF is keep me healthy during healing, I am eating clean, no sugars and minimal bread/carbs. Lots of greens and proteins which have been great. Thank you for the great info, I am looking forward to your new book❤ God Bless You 🙏🏾
