I agree to stop trying to force your body to lose weight. Bcuz the body has a mind of it's own. And it functions in accordance with life forces, such as the moon currents bio-rhythms to name two. I have recently realized to just let go and stop stressing over body image.

And just enjoy my life and do the best I can. I stopped hopping on the scale everyday, and just try to eat right and get some exercise. And I too are discovering what foods are okay for me and what is not.

I’d like to see you interview
“strong sistas.” They offer an interesting take. Following the biggest loser approach, maximum exercise with minimum calories, you’re setting yourself up for disaster. You’re better off upping your calories and getting the biggest possible bang for your buck that you can with minimal exercise. I don’t think you have to kill yourself with the exercise, weight train twice a week no more than 20 minutes per session, cellersizer, or mini trampoline jumping, and walking.

Thank you for another great video! I think you’re on the right track with the conclusions you’re drawing from your experience and other’s experiences. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. You’re helping me tremendously. I’ve been yo-yo dieting since I was a teenager and experimented with different diets throughout adulthood, so a lot of my experience is similar to yours. Also, thank you for last video you did about the Minnesota Starvation Experiment. I’m going to research more of those ladies videos too! We’re going to get to the bottom of this! Thank you again! 🥰

At 6’4m I did a diet recently on 1800 calories as a guy. After some time I stopped losing weight, then realized my maintenance BECAME 1800 kcal. Before it was around 3200 per day. I decided to up my calories and gain muscle instead of losing weight. I’m gaining weight but my stomach is getting flatter. I think once you stop losing weight on a VLCD, you need to hit the gym almost every day and go back to around 2500-3000 per day. Gain some muscle with the extra calories

Been fighting the same 10-20 lbs my whole life, up and down. Chasing an elusive number on the scale when I could have been doing something productive lol. Tiny bathing suits, social media, unsolicited comments from others has made too many of us self conscious almost to the point of paralysis. And (god help me) at my advanced age I'm still worrying about putting on extra pounds. Guess if you are in that mindset it never ends.

Good job bro . Beans should only be a garnish . Soak em before you cook em . I like salt too much too . Gives me high blood pressure . I love avocados too but I'm going to stop for a while because I want to lose weight . Thanks for all the great info . It's wonderful to see your transformation .

If you could choose to be paid 100 million dollars only one time or 5 million dollars every year for the rest of your life, but in order to be paid, you had to eat only brown rice and orange sweet potatoes and nothing else for 6 months, could you do it for that much money?

So what food style do you do? I keep looking at raw or like a high fat low carb plant based version. I know my body doesn’t like a lot of fat but it likes it when I eat higher protein. Seems like when I do my weight will start to drop a little. Not sure exactly how to get higher amounts of protein unless I do a vegan protein powder which in my case needs to be unsweetened. I know I can lose a lot of weight if I just do celery and apple juice fasting but I know that it’s not healthy and I’m getting back into that starvation mindset that I had with keto carnivore. I’m just started trying to do the eat like a king/ queen mindset that I keep seeing on a lot of the plant based videos. I just do that in the afternoon and then have a little bit of fruit for a snack then eat a smaller light meal for dinner. It seems to help as long as I stay away from olive and sesame oil and cut back on grains and potatoes. Think besides the yo-yo dieting my issue is with my autoimmune disease. My bodies last thing on its mind is losing weight. It’s hard dealing with inflammation and pain. On top of trying to figure out what foods causes inflammation in my body. Trying to decide if I should cut tofu and unsweetened soy milk out. It’s a large source of my protein intake though and it reacts the closest to dairy when it comes to thickening sauces and salad dressing. Plant based sounded like a better option than carnivore to try to beat my autoimmune disease. Mainly because it’s not so restrictive.

Just a thought, Ryan, but you might want to take GFR test or whatever they check for kidney function. I think once it's lost, it doesn't come back so you need to be aware what is actually going on.
