I might have another way 3:25 ; if multiply both sides by X+1 so (X+1)^2= 2 because X+1 canceled on right side . So the answer will be sq root of 2 or (B)

Another way:
1) X+Y= 60
2) 2X+ 4Y=202
Write x in terms of y in 1), substitute it in 2), and solve for x. 😇
