It is because people can’t “see” it physically as flesh and blood. But there are so many things in our faith as Christians that we cannot see yet believe due to Faith.

I left my Catholic faith for 27 years, and returned 10 years ago. I can assure you that trust in His Real Presence in the Eucharist is much more convicting to my soul & effective to my walk than pretending with a wafer and juice. He is really present. He said so... I don't have to explain it. I KNOW IT!
I guess for those protestants it's easier to keep pretending when all they have been taught is to pretend. As for me, I AM DONE PRETENDING! - Blessed be God Forever.

Remember as Catholics, our religion was not built yesterday after some pastors proclaimed they saw some light at the end of the tunnel. It was based on the Apostle since Christ was here on earth. The teaching was debated and thought of with caution for centuries. So who was right then? If you have a bad priest in your church, it is not the Catholic religion, it is the priest. You have to pray for him.

Catholics: No we don't. The bread and wine TRANSUBSTANTIATES to Christ's body and blood.

Catholics: Transformation is a change in form/appearance/perception while Transubstantiation is a change in essence/nature/whatness.

About two years ago I heard someone (a Catholic)give his testimony at Medjugorje Croatia, he had been sick for very long, he prayed and received the below words through the Holy Spirit, was asked to go to Church and receive Communion, he did, and got healed within a short period of time, I have since then been saying it as well:

”Let your precious body and blood mix with mine and travel through my body, healing me of all my fears and all my sicknesses and fill me with your peace. Let your precious body and blood mix with mine and flow throughout my being, make me into what you would want me to be that I might love like you.”

Cradle catholic here! Remembering when I was 8 yrs of age and Mom told me Jesus was in that box on the side of the alter! I look at the crucifix then the box, saying mom your pulling my leg I don't believe a grown man can fit into that tiny box why Dad can not fit in there! FF yrs latter older now my Eucharistic minister tells me she saw our Lord in the Eucharist!
Now I already believed Jesus was there lifelong! I ask Jesus, Lord may I see you too in the Eucharist! Time goes by I forgot I asked Him this favor! One day just as I was about to receive Jesus I see Him in the Eucharist! I saw Our Lord! It was a moment I will NEVER forget EVER! It was a glorious moment for me as I stupidly gave a gapping mouth wide open in shock at Jesus, I am sorry Lord you shocked me! Just as I was going to say wait lord don't go He vanished!
A gift from heaven that day! Guys believe in the real presence cuz it is real otherwise why would Jesus just feed us fake manna from heaven! If the Eucharist bears no importance why is it given? Jesus real pressence is there!
Of course the devil wants the faithless or ones with lil to no faith to believe it is dead bread! Don't be fooled into being a fool and not believe!

Pastor #2 also got it wrong when he said that we believe that whenever/wherever Communion is celebrated, it becomes the body and blood. Incorrect!

We believe it becomes the body and blood whenever a Catholic (or Orthodox) priest or Bishop consecrates it in the manner prescribed during Mass. The Apostolic succession is critically important for this. And so, no Protestant has ever received the actual body and blood of Christ during their "church services". For them, it is exactly what they say it is: a cracker and grape juice that in their mind SYMBOLIZES Christ.

I don't say this as some salty lifelong Catholic. I say this as a former 36-year Protestant who was convicted on this. Once my eyes were opened to the reality of the Eucharist, I absolutely had to have it, the "real deal". I've been happily Catholic almost 3 years now. And the real presence in the Eucharist changes EVERYTHING!
