Roman Catholic here. Since when have people been debating whether catholics are Christians or not? Catholicism was around BEFORE protestantism (I'm sure most of the people making these accusations are protestant)!

The organization teaches the same as it taught for 1500+ years since Jesus established His Church. Only Church built on Peter who got the keys. There is no other Church than Catholic, which has apostolic succession. In 16th century Mr. Luther came and said, I understand this my way. Let's even remove books from the Bible which do not fit my liberal views. And then got married to former nun. It's the best to read early church fathers works and you will be amazed what do Catholics really believe today and that it is the same as in 33AD. For first 400 years there wasn't any Bible. Catholics brought the Bible to this World. God bless you.
