Woooh! Amazing! I'm also protestant. My parents were catholics, protestantism started when my mom became a baptist and had the point of view of a protestant christian but she's gone long ago when I was still a kid... Right now I have found the truth about catholic faith, truly there's one, holy, catholic (universal) and apostolic church founded by Jesus Christ. I'm so blessed too to be part of the Catholic family I'm a freshly baptized catholic in October 1 this year. I'm so excited to receive more sacraments to come such as my confirmation, confession, communion, etc...

But still even if I'm catholic love must still extend to the non-catholics... As He has said in His teachings: Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you! ❤❤

I had started researching Catholicism just weeks before the debate between George Farmer and Allie Beth Stuckey premiered because my husband is Catholic. That debate was a turning point for me, as well. It made me realize how weak the argument is for Protestantism and I realized for the first time that Catholicism actually made sense. In fact, there were times I actually got frustrated with Allie Beth's arguments. By the time the debate was over my jaw had dropped and I just thought, "Wow...the Catholics are right about everything." It made sense then why they believe in asking for intercessional prayer from the saints, something I thought I would never be able to understand or believe.That debate changed me from, "I'm just curious about Catholicism" like Candace had been, to having a full-on quest for the Truth. And I kept finding it in Catholicism, not Protestantism. I discovered every crazy misconception about Catholics I had always believed was just that. Thank God for Candace and that debate! I believe He used her and her husband to help educate thousands and help bring them closer to Him.

My wife and I are Protestant and started the RCIA now for 5 weeks. WE read the early church father and made us not Catholic. The early church father never pray rosary, wear a brown scapular for Mary, prayers for intercessor between 100-200ad and praying people out of purgatory plus, more prayers and attendance to church go short their stay in purgatory. The early church fathers had the Eucharist right, helping one another, giving to the poor and etc. The early church father did mention Mary the new EVE but never said she was sinless or he assumption. There not a church that perfect in Protestantism either. I believe the Catholic church started out great but like must churches things get added to Jesus, Peter, and all the Apostles teaching on how to serve God.
I love the Catholic people and yes they are saved too but some of their ways of worship is a little off for me. Glad you are serving the Lord.
