OMAD is a simple diet technique where you eat all of your calories in a 1 hour window each day. The one meal a day diet provides fast weight loss results, along with various health benefits such as improved brain function, stronger joints, normalized blood pressure amongst many others.

The main benefit of eating one meal a day is that it allows your body to rest and digest, triggering the production of stem cells, autophagy, gene expression which activate healing throughout the body.

Hi Ryan I'm on this diet for the last 8 weeks I feel good and I've lost 20 pounds so far another 20 to go I'm off all meds my doctor is amazed at the results

I started doing OMAD and also some exercises on 19 september this year. I started this routine after learning that I was weighing 85kgs. Today its 8th November and I weigh 72kgs. I have lost 13kgs/28lbs in slightly over 6 weeks. My target is reaching 70kgs on 19th November, wish me luck....

Update: it's 2025 February 5th, I weight 70kgs, I now eat normally, 2/3 times a day. I also run approximately 30km weekly. I also walk for approximately 20km weekly.... I am doing all these to maintain my weight. 70 is okay for me

I eat twice a day. I have NO weight to lose - I'm about 132 lbs. and 5'8". I've never 'dieted' this is my normal weight. I have always eaten a very late Breakfast and Supper in late afternoon. Occasionally some Fruit and plain Yogurt in the evening. This is just my natural pattern. I have always had wonderful Digestion. Saw my new PCP last week. Blood pressure was 118/64. I'm 74...

I do intermittent fasting, but I have a 5 hour window. 1 hour window is alittle extreme...I still reap the benefits🥰

I occasionally do IF and I can confirm these results, I'm 38 and a mother and look 25 plus I combine with nature walks daily . Learnt more foods to consume, thanks for sharing

I am about to turn 76 and have been eating breakfast around 9am and a second meal around 4pm for the last ten years. I also like fruit if I need a snack around 7:30pm. I stopped eating sugar and refined flours and only an occasional soda for a treat in the 1970s after reading “Sugar Blues.” I was an equestrienne for 45 years, so ate 3 hearty meals each day back then because I was burning that many calories every day. I have never been fat though I did get up to 165 lbs when my husband and I were building our house and barn. I was training horses and swinging a 20-ounce framing hammer every day. I am 5’9” tall, still. That 165# was solid muscle. I take no meds and have normal blood pressure. Current weight is 139 lbs. it is possible to be healthy but you better eat organically grown, non-GMO foods. You can grow at lot of greens in pots, even in an apartment. Lots of info on doing so on YT. Listen to your body! It gives you signals and signs. Do your own research and pay attention to your own genetic heritage. I am of German descent and do best with a Germanic diet. Eating the vegetarian diet of someone adapted to the climate and environment of India, Africa, or Japan leaves me feeling weak and tired. If you are descended from ancestors from several continents, you may find it easier to adapt to a diet of beans, rice, and vegetables. In my own culture, raw apple cider and sauerkraut are a normal part of the daily diet. These are things that you can make at home. Self-respect generates self-care which generates a healthy self-love and love for others. Best wishes for your good health. 🙏❤️🖖 PS: I can still ride! I eat this way ...keto omad .... I'm reaping of the benefit of it daily and wouldn't go back to my old feel 45 rather than 65 .
Still a few issues to iron out but I'll do it with diet and good advice from sites like yours.
